CASING
Turbocharger casings are subjected to a high degree
of stress due to the conditions under which they
operate and the duration of their operation. Burak
Marine can immediately supply casings for all types,
either new or refurbished. Our highly qualified
staff is able to repair damages on turbocharger
casings of any type (ABB VTR, MITSUBISHI MET, KBB,
NAPIER etc) as well as to reproduce the walls and
restore them to their original dimensions, always in
accordance to the manufacturer's specifications.
This is achieved through Ultrasonic testing of the
casing at various points, a method that can also
predict possible failure during the operation of a
turbocharger.
