ROTOR SHAFT
Undoubtedly the heart of a Turbocharger is the rotor
shaft, which is subjected to the most strain during
its operation, as it is subjected to huge forces
that are imposed for a number of hours. Therefore,
Burak Marine, can provide new or refurbished rotor
shafts for all types (ABB VTR, MITSUBISHI MET, KBB,
NAPIER etc) at any time.
With a very experienced and well trained technical
staff, Burak Marine successfully refurbishes,
repairs and provides guarantees for all types of
rotor shafts. With 3 highly accurate latest
technology Dynamic balancing machines, with a 0,5 kg
to 3,000 kg capacity, issuing certificates according
to ISO 1940, we guarantee perfect balancing and
control of the rotor shaft. Additionally, after the
repairs and checks that are carried out on the rotor
shaft, it is necessary to carry out a Deflection
Test. This checks its straightness and a relevant
Deflection certificate is issued, as well as a
report with all the relevant measurements.
