SURFACE PREPARATION & PAINTING

• HPWJ is 500 bar max.it is used dissolve rast from the the surfaces
• Paints will be supplied by the owner
• SA2 ,SA1 , Sweeping area calculated min.250 m2 if less then
• Staging, crane service and cherry picker usage included in price
• Blowing of surfaces after abrasive blasting is included in price
• Hand scraping/mechanical cleaning to be charged extra in case it is necessary before/after sand blasting
• Price of stripe coat painting will be charged on the rate of full coat
• Protection of deck machinery and equipment against the defects which may occur during cleaning and painting works will be carried out by vessel.
• Coating of bituminous or zinc epoxy paint will be charged as 25% addition to rate of full coat painting
• In case only washing and painting works will be carrying out, the price will be revised as per shipyard general terms
• For estimating of dry - dock & repair period, it is assumed that minimum one coat per can be applied
• Chemical cleaning and other surface treatment works will be extra if needed
• Protection of hull anodes,catodic protection unit stern tube and propeller during blasting and painting are included in prices
• Surfaces will be calculated by our technicians during the repairs and will be compared with owner's values.
• Application of special type paints more than 250 micron DFT/coat to be charged extra.
• Cleaning of dock, residuals etc. are included in prices. Collecting and disposal of empty paint drums to be shipyard property
• Cleaning of holds from grit/paint reasiduals are included in prices
